Сonference on Small-Angle Neutron Scattering

6Th Conference on Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (MURomets - 2023) deals with the study of nano-objects and nanostructures by means of neutron and X-ray scattering methods. The Conference is organized by Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute (NRC "Kurchatov Institute" - PNPI). The entire series of conferences is closely related to the construction of the high-flux reactor PIK at the NRC "Kurchatov Institute". - PNPI. It is also timed to coincide with bringing the reactor PIK to the MW power and equipping the reactor with experimental stations. The conference is no less important for stimulating the activities of the Russian scientific community in the field of small-angle neutron scattering and neutron reflectometry.

Scope of the event covers various scientific fields, where methods of small-angle scattering and reflectometry have an important role as an indispensable tool in physics, chemistry, biology, and materials science. The scientific program includes the following topics:
• small-angle scattering and reflectometry for studying magnetism;
• small-angle scattering and reflectometry for research in chemistry and materials science;
• small-angle scattering for biological research;
• techniques and tools for small-angle scattering and reflectometry.

The MURomets 2023 conference will feature invited and oral presentations, as well as poster session.

Accepted abstracts (both oral and poster) will be printed in the Small-Angle Scattering and Reflectometry Conference Proceeding indexed in the RSCI (if a publication permit and a license agreement with signatures of all authors (co-authors) are obtained).

The working language is Russian, however, the reports and the design of presentations and posters in English are acceptable.

Recommendations for poster presentations (posters): vertical, A1 paper size.

Articles from the VI Conference on Small-Angle Scattering and Reflectometry will be published in a separate issue of the journal "The Journal of Surface Investigation. X-ray, Synchrotron and Neutron Techniques” The papers can be submitted as a review or as a regular article.

Registration fees is 5000 RUB.
It includes:
participation in all the activities of the conference, conference package, coffee breaks, lunch (for nonresident participants), a welcome party and other activities.
